In April 2019, two blokes, and a rather large dog set off out on a journey to tour New Zealand's North Island in our tiny caravan. Whilst on the trip, we continued to work thanks to NZ's rather excellent rural broadband... and we were also able to hone our drone skills to capture some awesome imagery of our beautiful country.

Pakiri beach - Remote, long, empty and stretching as far as the eye can see.

We're now halfway through our North Island road trip, and just now starting to develop a workflow that makes it possible to photograph, video, edit and post regularly. That’s a story in itself.

It all came together at Pakiri Beach. A great location on a remote north coast beach and gorgeous morning light to make it worth flying the new Mavic Air Drone, enough time and electricity to sit down and edit a whole video.
